Torch Telecom experienced a problem in their Sheffield exchange. Main 0845 access number failed between 10:45 and 11:00. Our office numbers were unavailable between 10:45 and 11:15.

Torch Telecom experienced a network problem which affected our main 0845 numbers. The backup 0845 number was unaffected.

Sheffield POP experienced total power failure due to YEB fault in Attercliffe. Ran off UPS until emergency generator on site. Insufficient output for full load so some customer servers experienced brief outage until excess loading cleared. See news for updated generator and UPS info.

Torch Telecom experienced a network problem which affected our main 0845 numbers. Approximately one connection attempt in three was successful. The backup 0845 number was unaffected.

Torch Telecom experienced a network problem which affected some 0845 numbers. Customers from Birmingham southwards were most affected.
